On April 7th, 2010 CAHPI suspended the National Certification Authority (NCA), Test Inspections (TIPRs) and processing applications. It also indicates "The provincial or regional chapters of CAHPI will maintain all national certificates until the certificates expire in 2011."
So does CAHPI still own NCH, as indicated they are suspending the NCH.
If this is the case the NCH will no longer exist.
If I read this correctly a few members are going to create a new association of sorts?

?
How will the current roster be guided into the "NEW" association.
Will all current NCH holders be grandfathered into the said association ?
Will the new association be required to re apply to BC for consideration of license issuing ( as I see it they were managed by CAPHI) and with new people and CAPHI still being the one that manages the NCH

What is happening with the NCC, Disbanded ?
Who exactly are these NCH people that have joined forces, and what are there mandates and how is this going to be better then the original NCC and or NCH designation.
AS it is a DESIGNATION this means it is as good or no better then the CMI Certified Master Inspector, which is also a designation
Has anyone thought about this fact as well, that designations are initself just a self made ticket that attempts to make one look better then the rest.
Just some food for thought..
Do we really need another designation placed by a few inspectors for inspectors to make them seem elite for the public, but when is the "stakeholders (public clients) really going to be protected. By resurrecting a program that the largest home and commercial inspection association managed Deemed A FAILURE AND SUSPENDED ITS OPERATION.
Is this a case of a few who cant let go and will at all cost pound it through regardless of the outcome to its current membership..

?? lets debate this what and where the Canadian Inspectors have to say about it
